Quincy Jones answers the questions no one asked

Quincy Jones is many things--music legend, film producer and humanitarian chief among them--but lucid commentator on the future of the music industry he is not. In fact, during his rambling keynote appearance at Monday's Mobile Entertainment Live! forum, Jones seemed to touch on virtually every subject except the wireless platform, name-checking everyone from jazz great Art Farmer to electronic pioneer Paul Beaver during the course of a trainwreck Q&A that mostly raised the question of what Jones was doing here in the first place. "It's the best and worst of times," Jones said as he briefly veered the conversation to the subject at hand. "The passion for music is higher than ever, but the system is so flawed…it's pathetic." - Jason
