Report: LTE revenues to hit $100B by 2014

Wireless operators deploying LTE this year probably do not expect to garner much revenue from the next-generation network technology before the year is out. However, in the years ahead they likely will reap great rewards, according to a new report from Juniper Research. The firm said global LTE service revenues will reach $100 billion by 2014. However, the report cautioned that high-traffic enterprise users likely will be the early adopters of LTE, and that revenues from consumers will trail those of enterprise users until at least 2015.
