Skype to offer direct billing with operators through credit system

Starting in October, Skype users will be able to buy Skype Credits and pay for them via direct billing with their mobile operator. The system is enabled by Mach, which has about 650 operator customers using its billing gateway. This move to direct billing is a sign of Skype's further integration with mobile carriers. Skype, which is owned by Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), is also expected to be integrated into the Windows Phone 8 operating system. Article
