SPOTLIGHT: Banning phones from schoolyards, unconstitutional?

A group of parents is fighting New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's attempt to ban all mobile phones from schoolyards, by filing a lawsuit seeking to overturn the decision. Yesterday a court threw out the parents' case. One of the parents said allowing the phones in schools is necessary so that her daughter can keep in touch with her in the event of an emergency, specifically a terrorist attack. Article
