SPOTLIGHT: Japan rolls out 3.5G network

By the end of the month Japan's EMobile is launching a 3.5G HSDPA-based mobile data service in Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo. Access to the network will be sold as an "unlimited" wireless data plan for $43 per month. The company worked with Sharp and Microsoft to develop the first handset that supports the network. Article
