SPOTLIGHT: Texas Instruments demos PVR capabilities on mobile devices

Texas Instruments demonstrated personal video recording (PVR) capabilities for mobile phones during the International Broadcasting Convention in Amsterdam. The company is using its own Hollywood digital TV chip and OMAP 2 multimedia processor, along with software from partners PacketVideo and Software Systems (S3).
