No word yet from from a federal judge about whether RIM will have to shut down BlackBerry in the U.S. Even if RIM wins it's probably just the beginning of another battle round with NTP, which has asked the judge to issue an injunction to shut down BlackBerry service over claims RIM infringes on NTP patents. RIM claims to have a workaround solution, and there are no signs the two will settle the matter, despite scoldings from the judge.
