Survey: Mobile users overwhelmed by new features

According to a recent survey by TNS, handset users cannot keep up with rapid advancements and new features on their handsets, leading many functions to go unused. The survey found that just 43 percent of Multi Media Messaging (MMS) enabled handsets have ever been used to send MMS messages. The survey of 6,800 mobile users also showed complex pricing structures and poor handset configuration contributed to the lower than expected usage rates for premium services. The survey polled 6,800 mobile users in UK, Sweden, Germany, France, Netherlands, US, Brazil, India, Hong Kong, China, South Korea and Japan.
