Survey: Wireless apps to receive attention from VCs

New figures from KPMG predict that venture capitalists are poised to throw money into the mobile and online entertainment space during the next two years. In a poll of 300 VCs, corporate executives and bankers, 52 percent predicted investments in digital content creation would significantly increase. Wireless applications are expected to receive the most investment dollars, according to 31 percent of the respondents. 26 percent said technology enablers will see the most funding, while 20 percent predicted social media services will receive the most funding.
