U.S. consumers want one m-payment account

According to a recent report from ABI Research, U.S. consumers are becoming more interested in using their mobile handsets for in-store payments using near-field communications (NFC), but most users prefer to have only one credit or debit account that is separate from others not used for NFC purchases. In a separate report, ABI also lowered its forecast for the value of the NFC market to $200 million, but noted it should reach an $820 million valuation over the next five years.
