Vodafone is playing down reports that it wants to buy the U.K. unit of Italian ISP Tiscali. The speculation came from a report in the Sunday Telegraph that noted Tiscali, which supports about 1 million broadband customers, would give Vodafone its entrance into the broadband space. Vodafone is currently undergoing a review of its strategies and is widely expected to make some sort of buy in the broadband space so it can play in the converged services and bundled offerings market.
