Welcome to 2010!

sue marekIt's the beginning of a new year and the start of a new decade. On behalf of the FierceWireless team, I'd like to wish you a Happy New Year. We certainly hope 2010 brings success and happiness to our friends and colleagues in the wireless industry.

However, as journalists we are a skeptical bunch and we certainly aren't naive enough to assume that all wireless companies will experience success in the new year, especially in such a tumultuous time in the economy and the industry.

As is our tradition, we are bringing you our 2010 Predictions for the wireless industry. I'd like to remind everyone that this is just a list of things that we think will happen in the coming year. Our predictions come from careful analysis of the news. We don't have any insider information or knowledge of actual deals that may or may not happen.

As we gaze into our crystal ball, here's what we think will happen in 2010.
